I originally started this blog with a focus on frugality. At the time my husband had just lost his job so that was my focus. Then the blog progressed to other things I was interested in like decorating and home renovations, basically I followed my whims. So Carrie's Caprice is a perfect name!
There have been some big changes over the past few months. My daughter has been accepted to university so we are going through the process of collecting things to outfit her dorm room, so expect some posts about that whole process. My husband was diagnosed with high cholesterol (at the tender age of 37!) so we have been focusing on healthy eating and exercise. There will be some upcoming posts on healthy recipes (since January we have lost a combined total of over 75lbs!). The bathroom renovation is complete and I promise a post with the after pictures.
I am really looking forward to getting back to blogging! And just because I think pictures make a post interesting I am going to include a sneak-peek of the finished bathroom.
