The Clothes For Project 333

I've organized my closet with my 33 clothing items. You'll notice that the clothes I picked are very colourful. I very seldom wear black and haven't included anything black in my 33 items.

Bottoms: 7 pairs
blue slacks, blue cords, beige cords, brown cords, blue jeans, beige capris, beige skorts

cardigans: 2
blue cardigan, beige cardigan

tops: 11
1 striped sweater

blue/white patterned blouse, orange/white patterned blouse

blue long sleeve shirt, green long sleeve shirt, blue striped t-shirt, 2 off-white striped t-shirts, pink t-shirt

red t-shirt, blue t-shirt

jackets/coats: 3
plaid jacket, Blue corduroy winter coat

1 brown fleece jacket

shoes/boots: 5
winter boots, rubber duck boots, Teva sandals, 2 pairs sketchers slip ons

Accessories: 5
mittens (solved the mitt vs. glove dilemma with convertible mitts) , wool toque

Not Shown:
1 gold chain with charm
1 pair sunglasses
1 purse

  1. Interesting that you have no black and most of mine is some shade of black or grey. My full closet has lots of color but I picked the pieces based on versatility and I guess most of my colored clothing didn't fit that bill.

    I didn't even think about the sunglasses because they mostly stay in my car and again they seem like a necessity not an optional item and I only have one pair anyway. I use the same purse for months on end and only have one because the pockets on women's clothing just aren't functional enough to carry what a person needs to have with them.

    I figured having to alter the challenge a bit to work for me was better than not trying at all.

  2. I picked all the coloured tops so they will match the beige, brown and/or blue bottoms. Some will even match all three. All the tops will match at least one of the cardigans and/or the fleece jacket.

    I agree about the sunglasses. I only have one pair too. I also played with the rules a bit, I didn't put a bathing suit on there. I am classifying it as workout wear :-) I also neglected put a sun-hat on the list. But I consider it a necessity so I will definitely take one when I go away.
